Natalie Hargis

President

” ‘Let all that you do be done in love’ 1 Corinthians 16:14 was the first bible verse I memorized. I stumbled across the verse while I was still finding my identity in Christ. I instantly fell in love with the verse because there was no alternate meaning to it. The verse simply states to do everything in love. From that day forward, I wanted my actions to be an example of God’s love. I joined GMMA because it would give me the opportunity to love others the way I have been loved. One opportunity was the Honduras mission trip. God worked through my team to provide both spiritual and physical healing to the people in need. I am humbled to be a part of an organization that views the world through Jesus’ eyes.”

Naomi Lee

Vice President

“I’m so lucky that GMMA came to my life in my freshman year when I was lost, and it not only brought me friendship but also gave me opportunities to glorify God through medicine which I’ve been passionate about. I hope GMMA GSU chapter continues to grow more than just a club but like a family where people can lift each other up and feel comfortable opening up. And through missions, I hope that God can use and strengthen us as vessels to glorify His name and His kingdom.”

Aaron Kim

Secretary

“My name is Aaron Kim, and I’m a junior studying nursing. I wanted to join GMMA to serve God and the beautiful students of GSU (yeah you’re beautiful). College can be hard and lonely, and it’s sadly a time where many people lose their faith. I believe GMMA can provide a warm, Christ-centered community for GSU students to gather and grow together.”

Rachel Jung

Social Media Coordinator

“GMMA allows me to engage with students, mentors, and experts who have a similar desire for missions to bring God’s utmost glory. I had the opportunity to see what it truly meant to lead with a joyful, serving heart, which made my first GMMA mission trip to Honduras unforgettable. GMMA challenges me to continually chase after God’s wisdom, discernment, and His calling while blessing me with those who strengthen me to walk in step with the Spirit. I’m so grateful that GMMA fosters a community where we can pray for each other and serve beside one another to glorify our Lord. I look forward to continuously preaching His goodness and being a missional daughter of God daily within my walk.”

Joshua Park

Missions Coordinator

“Hello, my name is Joshua Park. I am the Missions Coordinator for the Georgia State GMMA chapter. I’m currently a sophomore majoring in Biology on the Pre-PA track, hoping to pursue dermatology. I decided to serve through GMMA because I believe God has given me a calling to missions during my years in college. Since this decision, GMMA has kept me accountable for my daily walk with God, and believe it has changed me for the better. I sincerely hope that our chapter will spark a light within the Atlanta Community and bring people closer to God internationally. I’m humbled for the opportunity I’ve been given and hope to put words into action to make GMMA known worldwide.”

Timothy Kim

Treasurer

“Hellooo my name is Tim Kim and I am a fourth-year Biochemistry major on the premed track. I chose to be involved in GMMA this year because I really wanted to learn how to serve others because the best leaders are those who serve others. Not to be a leader for my own gain, but to really just be a vessel of the bigger picture that God has for this world and His children. Jesus is the best example of servant leadership in how He literally gave everything of Himself to bring people to the best life possible which is in God’s light. I am truly blessed to now be a part of this community who work together to serve Christ wholeheartedly.”
