Matthew Lee

PresidentĀ

Hello! I am currently taking post-baccalaureate classes at GSU. After receiving so much grace and wisdom from God during my college years at GT, I wanted to start an organization where broken people can come and seek Christ. Jesus walked with sinners like you and me. My vision for GMMA is to provide a community for the lost and broken, and lead them to Jesus Christ. The parable that resembles this vision is Matthew 18:12-14.

ā€œWhat do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? And if he finds it, truly I tell you, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should perish.”

Danbi Joung

Vice President

Hello, nice to meet you all!
It has been a blessing to have been a part of GMMA this past year where God’s presence was truly made known to us. I have been able to learn more about Him in ways I hadn’t thought possible. By channeling God’s love through us, we will grow together and be used for His glory. This year will be filled with amazing opportunities and events, and I could not be more excited to see how God works through each of our members for this upcoming year!

Naomi Lee

Treasurer

Iā€™m so lucky that GMMA came to my life in my freshman year when I was lost, and it not only brought me friendship but also gave me opportunities to glorify God through medicine which Iā€™ve been passionate about. I hope GMMA GSU chapter continue to grow more than just a club but like a family where people can lift each other up and feel comfortable opening up. And through missions, I hope that God can use and strengthen us as vessels to glorify His name and His kingdom.

ā€œLet all that you do be done in loveā€ 1 Corinthians 16:14 was the first bible verse I memorized. IĀ stumbled across the verse while I was still finding my identity in Christ. I instantly fell in loveĀ with the verse because there was no alternate meaning to it. The verse simply states to doĀ everything in love. From that day forward, I wanted my actions to be an example of Godā€™s love. IĀ joined GMMA because it would give me the opportunity to love others the way I have beenĀ loved. One opportunity was the Honduras mission trip. God worked through my team to provideĀ both spiritual and physical healing to the people in need. I am humbled to be a part of anĀ organization that views the world through Jesusā€™ eyes.
