Dr. Dave, a Family Practice physician from the US, lived and worked with his family in East Asia for nearly twenty-five years.  He was involved in grassroots medical service, which included clinical care, both rural and urban community health, medical education, and health care promotion.  He also spent several years on the leadership team of an international NGO which mobilized qualified professionals to use their skills to assist underserved populations in East Asia.
