Does MeowTXT handle MP4-to-Text well when the video has fast speakers or overlapping dialogue?
Fast speech is hard for any transcription tool, especially when paired with a video where background elements add extra noise. With MeowTXT, the results depend heavily on how clearly the speaker enunciates. When someone speaks quickly but clearly, the transcript is decent. But when multiple speakers overlap, even the best systems struggle to separate them. Video adds more complexity than MP3 because of ambient sound, background music, or sudden volume shifts.

What I like about MeowTXT is that its mp4 to text, transcribe mp4 feature still performs reasonably even when dialogue speeds up. When I need to transcribe mp4 files with fast speakers, I sometimes slow down the video’s playback before uploading the audio portion. This gives the tool cleaner phrasing and reduces slurred segments. The results aren’t perfect, but MeowTXT does surprisingly well for an online tool with no paid tier.
