Furnace rattling like a bag of rocks – any reliable HVAC experts in London?
Hi everyone! I’m reaching out because I’m about to lose my mind with the noise my furnace is making. It started a few days ago as a small hum, but now it sounds like a bag of rocks is spinning around inside the cabinet every time the heat kicks in. To make matters worse, I’ve noticed a lot of condensation on our windows lately, so I suspect the humidifier or the ventilation isn't working right either. Since we’re in London, I know there are dozens of companies out there, but I’ve had some really bad luck with "big box" contractors who charge a premium just for the brand name and then send out a sub-contractor who seems like he’s in a rush to leave. I’m looking for someone who actually takes pride in their work, arrives when they say they will, and won't try to scare me into a full system replacement if it's just a loose part or a motor issue. Does anyone have a "go-to" person they’ve used for years? Any advice would be a lifesaver!
