Dr. Esther Park is a board certified child & adolescent, and adult psychiatrist. Oak Health Center was established after she recognized the growing demand for great mental health providers. She trained to be a doctor at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, and did her psychiatry training at LAC/USC Medical Center.


Dr. Esther Park has more than 20 years of outpatient clinical experience treating children and adults and has supervised mid-level practitioners since 2015. She also co-founded Oak Health Foundation, due to her beliefs that mental health must be approached spiritually AND medically.


Her desire is, “I truly hope everyone can receive the proper care when necessary and to discover their true identity and the wonderful purpose of their lives by knowing Jesus!"


Dr. Mijin Park is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides psychological services for clients of all ages and is the CEO of Oak Health Foundation along with having co-founded Oak Health Center. A graduate from the Chicago School of Psychology, Dr. Park is an expert in intergenerational conflict within multicultural families. Dr. Park performs psychological assessments for ADHD, executive functioning, and emotional dysregulation, among others. She particularly enjoys working with adolescents and providing their parents with effective skills and strategies for fostering their children’s growth. Since 2018, she has experience supervising pre-licensed therapists (Associate Marriage Family Therapist or Psychological Assistant) at the Christian-based clinic, Fully Health.

Many church-attending Christians and leaders tend to separate spiritual struggles and mental illness. Some believe that if you are a believer in Jesus Christ, you should not really experience psychiatric problems. How should we understand mental health in a gospel-oriented way?
