Sun Chul Hong, MD, PhD, studied Obstetrics and Gynecology at Korea University and currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Korea University Anam Hospital (2007-Present). Additionally, he is involved as the President of the Africa Future Foundation, a registered NGO under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.

He has been continuously engaged in international development cooperation projects and medical missionary activities abroad since 2013, up to the recent year of 2022.

He also serves in positions that dedicated to saving lives as the Director of Hospital Management Consulting (KOFIH) at MNH Mlonganzila Campus in Tanzania, the Head of the Dr. Jang Kee-ryeo Memorial Seongsan Bioethics Research Institute, the General Affairs Director of the Rosetta Hall Memorial Society, and the Vice President of the Korean Society of Maternal and Child Health.

Drawing on diverse experiences, as an expert in the field of healthcare, he is dedicated to contributing to positive health transformations in Africa, exerting efforts from a missionary standpoint as well.
