Nicholas Comninellis, President and Professor at INMED, served in Shanghai and Angola, launched INMED in 2003, authored several books, and is recognized as a UMKC distinguished alumnus and global health leader.

Rebecca Meyer

Rebecca L. Meyer, with over 30 years of nursing experience, including ECMO and transport teams, now teaches at CBU, focusing on vulnerable populations, global health, and transcultural nursing, while mentoring students in academic service-learning and community engagement.

Dan Kim

Dan Kim, a pediatric surgeon in West Africa, combines medical expertise and missionary zeal to introduce Christ to Muslims through healthcare and support local church growth.

Susanna Choi

Dr. Choi, initially hesitant about medicine, has a 40-year career in OBGYN, serving in missions across six countries, and now practices holistic wellness in Colorado, emphasizing physical, emotional, and spiritual health.

James Lau, MD is an orthopedic surgeon. He is the chairman and founding board member of HIS Foundation (www.his-foundation.org). In the past 20 years, Dr. Lau has led many short-term medical missions to China, Vietnam, and Iraq. Orange County Medical Association elected Dr. Lau physician of excellence every year from 2005 to 2019.
